Hello,I was wondering if anybody could help with some info on a lockwood ash 41. Was a serial number stamped anywhere if the tag is missing? The carb that came on this engine was white or pot metal and has crumbled in to several pieces. On some old threads it was mentioned that a holly NH was right for the 41. It also said that a model T carb was right(makes sense, used other T parts). Any Ideas? Lastly The threads said that a Bosch high tention mag was used before seral #1200 and a wico used after #1200. Anyone know how you could tell the difference and what model bosch or wico were used? thanks for any help you might have, Mike

Yours looks like it would take the later mag, the earlier wasn't a rotary, it was a snap type that worked off the water pump. The ones I've seen had the Model T carbs. The 2 cycle L-A had the # stamped on the flywheel end of the crankshaft.
