I need to replace the Head and Manifold gaskets on my old boat engine. I am aware that replacement gaskets are available but for me the the cost is prohibitive. Has anyone used any other method or material to substitute for these gaskets.
Also need some advice on how to loosen the manifold, i was planning to just spray the gasket seal for a week or so with WD40 or similar to try and brake or loosen the gasket?
Thanks all advice gratefully accepted.
