I have a 6cyl engine and want to get rid of it. Grey Marine F800A. Maybe some one would like to rebuild it, or just run it as is. The guy I got it from had it running 2 years ago just to see if it worked.

Since the 244 Express is a typical flywheel forward engine, I assume you are talking about the housing over the output shaft. That was part of the forward/reverse gear housing since it shared the oil supply with the engine. An available option was a Velvet Drive unit which was coupled by an adaptor ring (using its own oil supply). I ended up having to have the adaptor ring and shaft coupler custom made for mine. I got it through Bristol Services in Southern California who worked with a local machine shop. It took them about a year and a half, but they probably still have the measurements.

If you are looking for a flywheel cover, I have one I can loan you to get a duplicate casting made.
