Our kids charity (Mahogany HArbour) is rebuilding a Kermath Sea Prince out of our 1947 17' Shepherd. I can't find a source of gaskets and small parts on the internet for this engine and I'm wondering if any of you can direct me.

Hello, I am also starting a rebuild of a Sea Prince in the fall of this year. I have had no luck with finding gaskets at all. Most of them you can probably cut out yourself using the old one as a pattern if you can get them off in some sort of shape. Or you can put the part down on a sheet of gasket material, trace around and cut out that way. Use a socket of the right size to make the bolt/stud holes by laying the material on a piece of hardwood and putting the socket on the gasket and hitting with a hammer. Takes a bit of practice but it works. There is someone who sells rings and bearings if you need them. I think they're in Ohio. They put an ad in Wooden Boat magazine for Hercules engine parts. The Sea Prince is based on the Hercules. I was wondering, what type of reverse gear does your engine have?
