I have a cracked water shield on a 350 marine engine.the crack is about 3 inches long. i believe is a freeze crack. Would JB Weld do the trick or do i need to do something else? Thanks!

You can try te JB Weld but I dont think it will work. Is the water shield like the water jacket in the block and if so the crack can go in further allowing water to go anywhere in the engine causing damage to moving parts.
