For anyone that might be interested in the Packard 4M-2500 PT boat engine, the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton NY has put Pardon Me, our 48 foot Packard powered "runabout" in the water. We fired up the engine yesterday and will be running the boat through the summer. She is a prodigous consumer of 100 octane gas burning about 100 gallons per hour at 2000 rpm. She is rated at 1500 hp and moves Pardon Me at 10 knots idling. By the way it started first kick after 6 years of not being run.

Come and visit.
