Does anyone know of a US source of parts/information on this little engine? VM RH 186MH.Great running engine with an hbw50 gear,would like to keep it that way!Thanks

There is only one person in the U.S. able to supply every sort of info about the VM one and double cylinder little diesel units and his name is Dale Chambliss in Houston Tx. He also had a huge amount of spare parts for such engines. You can try to contact him at [email protected]

have a ducati vm rh 186 mh with gear and manuals filters that I removed from my Allmand 31 available engine runs and will be good for smaller boat or to be used as spare parts available in Rhode Island

I have the same engine and am currently restoring it for my 27',I have previously contacted "boatpaul" and know he
would like spares . I have found a copy of the workshop manual for the RH186 industrial version,but it rotates in the opposite direction! So if you have a manual dedicated to the rh186mh I would be interested in obtaining a copy. Spares are rare for this engine, VM actually absolved themselves of my inquiries (denying that they ever made it):-) Of course I would be happy to share with whoever buys your's what I know.
