Hi all,
New to the forum and first post (actually second, I made an account but had some difficulty posting so I am trying again).
I am not into the antique marine hobby fully yet (as much as all old stuff in general) but I am not interested. It might be a long shot but I thought I would give this forum a try.
I am trying to find information about the Hedges Diesel engine, and about the company that made them. All I really know so far is they were made by Harry Hedges in New Jersey from the mid 1950s until the early 1960s. I do not know if they were exclusively used for marine applications or not but I have heard that some were. So I thought this might be a good place to ask around.
Has anyone ever heard of them or know anything about them? Has anyone ever seen one? Were there different sized engines and what was their applications?
