Trying to locate where I can get a Palmer engine head, 345/392 motor. Fresh water cooling. Boat located in Virginia.

Give any older junkyard a call. Most of the international school busses in the 70's used the 345 and or the 392 IH engines. If you go this route I would suggest changeing both heads to make sure you have the same compression ratio on both halves of the engine. Or at the least check casting numbers and give a good visual inspection for comb chamber shape and size. Also look at valve size, springs, rotaters etc.

You can get aftermarket heads for the tractor version of the P-60. You will have to drill and tap a 1/8" pipe thread hole on the top, forward end for the air bleed line fitting to convert it to marine use
