This is the electrial drawing for my PW_27 in my boat. I hope this could be of help to some of you. It would work for any Delco Starter/Generator system with a magneto.Electrical drawing

Howard,

Thanks for posting the diagram. It may help me with my Atomic 2 project. That engine came to me without any wiring, but has a magneto and a starter/generator.

Regards,

Hi David, I see, I did not show the voltage regulator case grounded.

Howard, Thanks for sharing this drawing, I love it! I'm in the process of getting my PW-27 running and tested before it goes into the boat. It never occurred to me to use an ignition switch as a ground. A simple solution if there is no problem with everything half way hot all the time. Sorta similar to a positive ground system I guess.
Can you or anyone else give me the Voltage Regulator Model Number for the correct Delco/Remy starter/generator used on the PW-27? I looked in the archives but could not pin it down. Thanks!
