I have a gray marine motor i don't no the exact date and iwas told that it is a 427 crysler motor i would like to find more info about this
i would like to know if there is a way to convert it to mercruiser outdrive

I just bought a 1920 Morton Johnson Lapstrake life boat somtime back someone put in a Gray inline 4 . Number on block F4000A330 number on transmission plate 98116 could someone help with the year of the Gray Thank You

At least in passenger cars, Chrysler never made a 427 cubic inch engine. They made 413s and 426s though (among others), as well as a 426 Hemi (similar block, different heads). A picture would probably be helpful.
