I have a 4-52 Lugger in an old 28' launch that has a thermoset temperature control. Fresh water comes from the pump, goes to the back of the block and to the Thermoset control at the back of the exhaust manifold. Hot water exhausts from the front of the engine block and front of the exhaust manifold. I am not sure of the routing from the engine block and what discharges to the wet exhaust and recirculation line. There is an opening on the Thermoset pointing toward the exhaust side that appears to have had a connecting fitting. Can anyone explain, preferably with a good picture, the typical coolant plumbing installation of this motor?
