Hi, I have a 1924 Gray car. Would any of your manuals apply to the 4
cylinder engine fitted to this???
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you David Briffa [email protected]

David I don't think any of our manuals will help you. However there may be someone else on our discussion board that can. Also can you send me some pictures of the engine? If possible from both sides. I will post them here with your car pictures. They will help us determine if your car has some version of a Gray Marine engine in it.

Here are Davids Pictures.

Ernie,

Thanks for posting Dave's pictures.

A friend of mine in New Jersey sent me an article about The Gray Motor Corp. (thanks Larry if you are reading this...). The article was from the Febuary 10th 2005 issues of OLD CARS. It was written by Marty Bufalini and describes the history of the Gray Motor Corp automobile production and OJ Mulford's involvement in the venture.

If someone would like to contact Marty or OLD CARS maybe we can get permission to display the article here. The title of the article is AUTOMOBILE TWISTORY (maybe it is a regular column in the magazine) and it is on page 12 and 13.

Maybe the article is availabe somewhere online and we could link to it... but I couldn't find it from a quick search...
