I'm still messing with the Detroit in the What have I got? thread in the single cylinder section. Ownership is still in question but I can't keep my hands off of it. I've read everything in this section on mixers and tried to search for additional info but no treasure trove yet. I have Richard Day Jr.'s reprint of the Palmer Engine Hand Book which has been immensley helpful but is light on mixers. Basic operation principles are what I'm looking for as I assume they all incorporate similar or like features.
