I have just finished putting a new exhaust outlet on a p55 and a general paint and polish.
I started the engine which took ages due to the finicky linkage system, i noticed water coming from the exhaust collar nut, more throttle more water, i then stopped the engine and removed the crankcase drains and out flowed a mixture of fuel and water in equal amounts from both
My question is this, is the water coming from the head gasket or the exhaust outlet?
Also i must mention that during polishing the head nuts i removed one at a time to polish them and i did discover some water in the cases which must have leaked in when a nut was released, but no more leaks after the engine was left for a few weeks.
regards Matt
