Hi Helping a friend with a p55 marine, oils up on 1, fitted copper plugs which helps. cleaned mag fitted new points etc. \has anyone benefitted from a brightspark upgrade. Has lift petrol pump which I think may be flooding carb.
wonder also about compression. Hard to run on canal as does not like tickover for long. |

Hi Julian, it sounds like worn rings, but check the small brass drain plugs at the bottom of the crank case because you may have a build up of oil residue |
