My hand crank sprocket is missing every other tooth. appears to be a 1/2 pitch if the tooth was there. Where do I find chain for a sprocket missing every other tooth? Thanks. John

This type of chain is called block chain. The last time I bought some was from Boston Gear. I called them this morning but they seemed clueless. The chain that I have is 1" pitch 1/4" wide. As I remember that was all I could buy. Have not located a source for sprockets yet, if I get time I will try again.

I found an engineer at Diamond and he advised me that it is called "laminated block chain". I googled it and found a source, horribly expensive, but still available. My sprocket is .350, much wider than bicycles of the early days.

Do you have the ebay references? I did not see them.
