HELLO, I HAVE A 1971 CHRYSLER 85HP OB MOTOR, WHEN I PUT THE LOWER UNIT ON I HAVE A GAP IN THE FRONT OF THE UNIT, JUST CANT GET IT TIGHT, THE REST OF IT IS SEALED GOOD, THE SHIFT ROD IS DISCONNECTED & SURFACE IS CLEAN, WILL THIS CAUSE A PROBLEM & WILL THE WATER PUMP WORK LIKE IT SHOULD, THANKS, JACK
