Hi, I've just acquired a Chapman fibreglass boat that is fitted with a 5/7 pup motor.
It hadn't been used for a couple of years and when I tried to start it I discovered it had water in the sump, I think I have got most of it out now by pulling it over till it fires and stops then I cleaned the plugs and tried again and again till it ran long enough to get warm.
I now feel I may need to pull it out and strip it and see how badly it has been affected by the water.
Does anyone know where I can buy a Manual for it and also where I get parts for it if I need them.
Thank you in advance.

Requests for the manual seem to be pretty common. I could scan it and put images up on my web site, but that would be a breach of copyright.

Or is this old enough now that copyright isn't an issue ?

Thanks ssssooooooooooooooooooooo much to John for his quick response to my request for a manual:-)
It looks like they have white metal bearings so I can only hope that there is minimal water damage to them :-(.
