Hi all would a blaxland twin fit in to a 13 foot boat or is this to small for this motor

waste of a motor.Hull speed would only be about 4 knots , and you could achieve that with a 3 1/2 single,plus the single with correct clutch is about 180 mm shorter = more room in small boat

I,ve got a twin in a fourteen Fred ,,does 5.5 knts,,Give her a crack ,,,Todd not looking out of the square enough I think ,,

if you have a twin and not a single, it should be alright, I have a twin in my fourteen footer too only because the price for the motor was too good to pass up

I am restoring a C.A.M. Fisher 13'11" clinker commercial fishing boat still with the copper sheathing over the stbd bow gunwhale (assume for nets?). Planking is 1/2". Arrived minus engine, but original beds match the Blaxland twin I have.

you have the motor, you have the boat. I don't see a problem, the twin won't sink it, just be overpowered, just don't use as much throttle, easy fix
