The following was sent to me by Vernon, if anyone can help him with this please post it here and or email him.

Quote:

Dear Sir;

How can I go about identifying an old engine I have?

Its a one cylinder, no markings, solid flywheel, grease cup mains, spark plug ignition, gray paint on cylinder, red on the crank case and flywheel, no provisions for a water pump, drip oiler, buzz coil contact on base of flywheel.
Crankcase is not split down the center of the mains. Carb is missing, so I dont know what it had.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Vernon
