This 2 cylinder engine was bought by myself in restored condition from a dealer in NZ about 10 years ago. He bought it from the remains of a mine where it had been adapted to pump water and he was told it was originally been from a car or a boat. All we know is that we think it is pre 1905 due to the automatic valve gear. We also think it was adapted professionally to be a stationary engine for its pumping job in the 20s and a model T carb fitted to suit. The internal dimensions are bore size 105mm and stroke approx 124mm. It also has characteristic 4 stud securing of the water manifold on the top of the cylinders. Can anyone help as to what this engine might be?!
