A friend of mine has two Crescent inboard engines, a 10 hp twin and a 5 hp single. He would like any information regarding the company, advertisements or photos of other engines. The twin is missing the water pump, and the single is minus the correct timer, and he would like a good photo or illustration in order to look for the proper parts....Thanks,

There are nameplates on both engines and they are more or less identical, except for the stamped serial number and horsepower.
The tags are cast brass and have Crescent in a large font, the Crescent Marine Engine Co. St.Louis, Mo. in a smaller font at the bottom. Even with this on the left is the serial number, while the horsepower figure is on the far right.
I am working on the photos. Thanks
