Here are some pics that were sent to Dick Day from AU. To me it has the look of a truck enigne. ( my 2 cents worth)
Anyone have any ideas?

if the exhaust are original, I would say marine. I would think a truck would have an exhaust manifold. if it is an aluminum base, I wouldn't think anyone would pay all that extra money for just a truck engine.

Take a look at a recent posting on Smokstak by John Davis. Under the heading of Trucktractor.
Doesnt resemble the photos here but still an interesting engine and machine. I`d transfer the photos here but I`m not that talented.
