Greetings Spindrift,

You can use a good quality automotive water hose from a parts store for much of the plumbing on your boat. But, be advised that the hose you purchase from an auto store is built for pressure systems and often may not hold up to the vacuum that may be created on the suction of intake side of your water pump.

A marine grade water hose may be purchased from most any reputable boat parts dealers or chains.

Cheers,

Lew "The West Coast Sterling Guy"

Thanks, sounds Like I should by marine for the intake so it will not collapse and then I could use good automotive for the rest.
