Erd 41/2x(6?) And/Or 43/4x(6?) 4cyl e...

Author Message   bud_tierney Member Username: bud_tierney Post Number: 11 Registered: 10-2009 Posted on Monday, July 26, 2010 - 11:06 am:        Erd, besides marine engines, built a few tractor engines (a Saginaw history says truck and tractor engines, but I've never found an Erd truck listing). While my old parts catalogs (trucks, ag,ind'l, very little marine) list two Erds (4x6 and 41/4x6) mentions exist of Erd 41/2 and 43/4x6, and a 1919 Lauson tractor is supposed to have a 43/4x6... Does anyone here have any info re' Erd 41/2 or 43/4 bore 4cyl's?? (Haven't completely reviewed archives; also posting on smokstak) Any comments appreciated. Many thxx!! Bud
