I need to replace generators with alternators on my Chris Craft cruiser's twin KL's. Does anybody know of an alternator with the same bolt pattern as the generator for a CC KL engine? |

There are no direct bolt on conversions. Someone had made conversion kits and were selling them on EBAY. $700 is hard to swallow tho.
Motorola 12N-MA550 is the easiest to adapt but very hard to find cores. Delco 10SI is readily avaliable in marine with one wire but requires some machining and a wider pulley for the 5L belt.
You can also have the existing generators converted to 12V. |
