The racing boat "ALAMO" had two of these engs powering her in 1907, must have been quite a ride!

I never would have guessed that was a Termaat & Mohahan.

RUDDER magazine had a contest in 1905 - 07 where they showed pictures of twenty or so engines and asked readers to identify them to win the contest.

"Power Boat News" for February 24th 1906 pp. 924-928, had such a competition with illustrations of 58 engines. Too bad someone pulled pages 925-929 out of the copy I have! I see this was a weekly publication put out by The Rudder Pub. Co. Does anyone know for how long it was published?
