G'Day
Would any one have a sound recording of a Hall Scott V12 running. My interest can best be explained if you look at this site
http://www.hmsseahawk.com/
I would like to add the sound of motor launch running at sea.
Many thanks for any help.

LLoydsboats,
Many thanks for the email, I know of 2 B types one in Melbourne the other Darwin both still active. But I think now running small diesels. Cost of a V12 would send ticket prices over the moon.

Also there's a clip of a Defender running on Youtube. The Mystic Seaports other engine.
I'm getting an interest about these engines.

Many thanks mikeyfin, I had seen that one. Just a little rough on the run.
No worries something will turn up. No not a complete engine I'm only building a 12' row boat.

Nice pic Jay. This one runs occasionally, or at least did when the owner was still with us.

And only 4,995 lbs weight for 650 HP from 2,182 cubic inches on pump gas!

Cheers,

Lew
