I'm starting a preliminary flat head Cadillac list of utilizations, and wondered if any boat builders had employed this smooth performer in a cruiser, runabout or yacht?
Thanks. Don White, Louisville.

Hello Don, My grandfather had a four cylinder Cadillac circa 1920's (I think). It was in a 40 foot displacement cruiser. It had a transmission and ran very well for many years. It was not the original engine so can't really answer your question as to whether boat builders installed them as original power........Joe

Don - Outside your time parameters but chris Craft did build at least one 21'Cobra with a Caddy V8. Saw it two weeks ago as a matter of fact at the Skaneateles NY antique boat show.
