Wow... I hope all the nieghborhood kids were safely in school that day...!! Great looking engine!

If it is the UNION GAS ENGINE COMPANY of East Oakland or San Francisco, California, there were a large number made for marine use. Some are currently owned by collectors. I have also received correpondance from a museum that has an early Union locomotive engine.
