Ive rebuilt one of these after the owner lost 2 head gaskets. after 5hrs of running this head gasket let go. the gasket is burnt between the cylinders enough to turn the copper black. some how water got into the last stern cylinder and hyd. out the side of the gasket. on inspection of the cyl. ive noticed some transfer of alum. has any one had this happen to them ?? im thinking it might be a timing problem, but it looks right on. and the boat has fresh fuel. and plenty of water flow . it was ran on the trailer by drawing water out of a bucket and was never ran on hose pressure. inside the cyl. head there is black hard coating on everything maby from gas and water. anyone have any ideas. thanks
