Replacement Bosch Starters are available.
Over 20 years owning a SABB 2H I have had to suffer with 2 rebuilt Bosch with problems in the solenoid coil and field coils.
This summer I spent endless hours researching the subject for 0001307024 or 0001311066 starters. I found that the Chinese have cracked the Bill of Material for several Bosch starters. A local starter overhaul shop glastonbury rebuilding service used:
Arrowhead Engineed Products Dan Smith [email protected] 800-328-5454 ex 542
Blaine, MN 55014. I talked to Dan and they had the starter in stock. The local shop has used these starters before and disassembles the new starters checking lubrication and the proper length of brush leads.

Another source is J&N Electrical 800-366-7100
Cincinnati, OH- A few years back they allowed end users to research their Bosch exploded Bill of Material file. now you have to be a customer.
The interesting note is that the Bosch starter weight 20 lbs and the Chinese = 9 lbs ( aluminum and permanent magnets) and the new starter turns the engine over at least twice as fast as the worn out Bosch. I know the real question is how many years will it last. But for right now, my 2H loves the new starter ( and so does my wife when I use to jig the starter in an emergency sail movement)

Problems with my -76 Sabb G. Dies after 2mins on high rev. Have checked for air in fuel system, OK. About to replace with new nozzle. If that does not solve the issue, any known problems/wear outs of fuel pump that can be repaired or do I better install new pump(providing too low fuel pressure)?

I have a 2H for 20+ years. having the injector nozzles is good start. My WAG is that the lift pump diaphram is weak- better to replace it with an electric one- ( when we had a USA Sabb distributor I overhauled this pump twice- problem was solved but only for 5+ years.
