Hi again,
I've successfully identified the engine in my new 18ft teal boat as a Stuart Turner Sole Mini 2.
I knew there was a problem with an oil leak which I thought would be easy to fix but the main thing is it lacks power.

I had it on the river the other day and it really struggled against the tide so would have real problems at sea.

Is there anything I can do or do I need a more powerful engine? (I think this is about 9hp) Would this normally be enough or not?

If I do look for a new engine are there any you can suggest which would be about the same size?

I am new to boat ownership so would appreciate any comments.
