J.B. has set the dates for the 4 day adventure. March 17 > 20, 2016, so mark your calendar and get your bus tickets for this great show. Thursday the 17 will be at J.B.s shop. Friday the 18 will be a hundred mile power tour on the East side of the Atchafalay swamp. Saturday will be about one hundred fifty mile power tour of the West side of the Atchafalaya swamp. Sunday will be at J.B.s camp on Belle River. You can look in the past years of these threads to see some of the fun we have. All are welcome.

I would have to be gravely sick or financially broke to not attend this event. Hospitality and food out of this world. Tickets purchased for the Deardorff's and Billet's. Can't wait.

jdheinzmann, Do you have any information on the Queen City marine engine built there in Manchester, NH circa 1910?? Possibly a division of Amoskeag Manufacturing when they were making fire engines and locomotives??

My friend Leon Ridenour and I came last year and we each had a great time. It was then that Leon met Bob Price and they talked about making gears for a Standard Marine engine. Leon has some family responsibilities this year, but Ill be coming.
Leon has approved my posting here some of his work this past year on the open crankcase Standard. To date, Leon has used more than 20 feet of thin-walled tubing to plumb the oiling system. His goal is to have this engine firing by early summer.
Ive made some progress on my Lauson marine engine with it stripped to the block. Ill bring it with me to ask for suggestions on how to restore a freeze crack that is 2" on each right-angled leg.Standard-1 Leon
