Our spring show will be March 19-22. On Thursday the 19th, people arrive and gather at my shop, Friday and Saturday we do the "power tour", visiting local collectors and other points of interest, Sunday it's to my camp at Belle River, plenty of food, people, and boats on the water.

What a great time !

I Want to thank our wonderful hosts J.B. and Gayle Castagnos for once again making all of us that attended their spring get together feel that that was the only place to be last weekend !

This was an assembly of some of the most interesting, knowlegable and capable collectors, machinists and enthusiasts, all converging in Donaldsonville,La.

Thursday meeting at J B's shop , Talking to everyone, seeing the inverted Pierce run as smoothly as it did over a hundred years ago, watching Jb start and run the big Union twin, bore cylinders on the boring machines, grinding crankshafts on his big grinder, a lot to see and learn. The evening is a trip over the Mississippi
River to a delightful seafood restaurant were good food and good company is most enjoyable.

Friday & Saturday are the power tour days and visits to local collectors homes and shops is always an adventure !

Sunday is The get together at JB's camp on the Belle River, The people meet, many bring their Bateaus and give rides, A big thanks to those who
brought and made the wonderful array of southern Louisiana foods ! Old wooden boats and engines, great people, great food what a day !

Monday is the swamp tour, taking trips in the old bateaus into the back country swamps, I didn't go so others may speak to this .

Thanks again to all that I talked with and enjoyed the weekend with-- Special Thanks to JB.
