I have a Kermath Sea Twin that I am assembling, I would like to replace the front and rear oil seals. There are no identification numbers on them, so does anyone know where I can get replacements or where I can get a cross reference to a Timken oil seal (or other brand)number? The parts book uses Kermath numbers and not manufacturer's numbers as far as I can tell.

Use the OD, shaft diameter and seal width to search in a Chicago Rawhide or Garlock catalog to find a part number. Then call your nearest Applied Industrial Technology or Kaman Industrial Technology, and give them the part number. Be patient with them when they ask you what kind of machine the seal is used in.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, I will use the ID,OD and seal width as suggested and see where it goes. Jim
