I'm sure there is no hard and fast rule, but in general, how would a prop have been secured onto the shaft of a late 20's early 30's 100 foot long diesel powered boat? Would it be tapered or straight shaft? Did they usually use brass or stainless steel nuts around then? Thanks for any info.
