Bad day at Black Rock. My machinist called earlier with the news that the gear for the water pump and timer was in pieces. The gear that I send him had the shaft hole elongated and not centered and I asked him to bore it out with a larger hole centered and press a bushing to what ever it was bored to down to 1/2 inch for the shaft. Clearance problem it seems, the bushing was to large for the hole thus many parts. He is welding it up but I don't have a lot of faith in that proceedure. Thus I now am looking for the gear. Oh yes and still a timer for that 3 hp "U". I am having a make-shift timer made up but still would like the correct one. Still looking and now looking for a gear. Thanks, Frank

What does the timer look like I have the usual collection of junk timers with parts missing. Perhaps I have a piece or two which will help you in your search.
