Probably right.Going to try a bath of liquid nitrogen then warm water over the outside. The inside being cold will be smaller than the outside,it might leave enough room to lubricate. Will have to handle with care. Any comments,issues, concerns???

Suspect the cold will freeze any oil and lockup the moving parts. Suggest heat instead and carefully applied force. Any chance of a photo or scanned sketch?
