Kyle, That looks a bit sad. If you are not worried about keeping it original you could try finding a fuel tap from an old lawn mower (Victa or similar). The old ones were brass (now they are plastic or they just don't fit a tap)and I have used one for several years. I also find that outboard type fuel hose is more practical than copper. try a plumbing supply store like Reese, most of these fittings are plumbing threads. you will find them helpful there
