Well now, I too am a new member and, I need the same thing as David.
I have an early Caille single in great shape except the points situation is missing
And I have no idea what they looked like. It is NOT the magneto type, but the coil and battey. Im retired from 50 years as an automobile
mechanic and am capable of building what ever I need but would like to make
them look as original as possible. Any picture of what the points and bracket looked
like would be a wonderful help.
Thanks, Pete Berard

There are a umber of configurations for the timers.
Your best bet is to do a SEARCH using the function at the top of the page ( just under HELP) .
It will identify the posts that refer to Caille and Detroit.
Many of the posts have photos, so that should help you get started.

Any photos of the Detroit or Caille? I may be able to help you but would need to see photos of what style engine you have. Click on my user name and email me the photos or post them here on the forum.
