I recieved the following by email... I hope we can help him out. I gave him the links to the video clips here on this board, but it seems that he wants a tape or CD. Thanks.

Hello, This is probably the strangest e mail you have ever received. A long time lady friend's father had a fishing boat down east here in Nova Scotia and Barb said she would never forget the wonderful, individualistic noise that the engine made. She has asked me repeatedly to find her a record or a tape with the sound of the M&B on it.

I really have not got a clue as to where I could get such a thing and I wondered if by any chance you would be able to help in this quest. I have tried the obvious places like eBay with no luck. Perhaps you know of a recording or where I could tell her to go to get it.

Strange I know, but I am not joking I am deadly serious.

Any help that you could give would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

DAVE CHANCE.

Try
http://hem.passagen.se/pohlson/Tandkulemotorer.htm

I suppose that you could make a tape of it
There are some others there too.

Try a website called Sounddogs. they have sounds recorded for 'almost' everything & more.
I was looking & found several fragments of WW2 PT-boat recordings.
