Hi,
Does anyone know anything about freeze plugs on a 57 Johnson model # AD11? I bought this motor thinking that maybe I could weld a plug where the one blew out. The owner of the motor did not have it in water far enough, using a lawndry basket.

btw, anyone here coming to the philippines? i got a small hotel in makati city. its a few minutes from the airport. then we could go to my inn located in central philippines. silago, southern leyte (map). great place for boating, diving, surfing, island hopping, and paradise. guys, the possibilities here are endless. just don't expect the harrah's or the astoria. hehehe.

http://www.outboard-parts.com/ns5/index.htm

This is the website for Stone and Sons in Houston, Texas. They have a huge supply of outboard motor parts.
