Aquired a one cyl gas engine with brass tag that has United States motor corp on it. It is a model K. Looks like a briggs and stratton model Z. Does any know if there is any connection between the two?

Yes they cast there own blocks on the water cooled model, and then used Briggs & Stratton internal parts, I also have one that they used Lauson internal parts on. I collect these and Im always looking for the next one.
