I have an old inboard two cylinder engine the grease cup on it say's (THRALL - FISHBACK MOTOR CO. DETROIT MICH). I'm looking for any information on this engine. Especially how it gets a spark. magneto ect.

take a look at these very simular engines, The gear on yours looks like a magneto drive gear.
both my Arrow and my Waterman use Bosch Mags

Roger thanks for the pictures it helps. can you give me the numbers on that mag? My engine is very similar to yours, set up a little different and the engine mounts are also different. I was told by someone that waterman made engines for the thrall- fishback company maybe that's why they have a close resemble.

My arrow mag says Bosch BA2ED-19 with a clockwise rotation, on the bottom it is stamped 61433
on the end of one of the mounting feet it is stamped 3255296
I will add 2 pictures of the mag back at the other link is a few minutes

You could also try posting a wanted ad in our classifieds.

There are also a number of companies that specialize in old magnetos.... some of them advertise in GAS ENGINE MAGAZINE.
