Audie,

Unfortunately it is not quite that easy.... except for the spark plug which you can get from John Brillman.

For the ignition system and water pump you could post pictures so people can see what you need. Somebody might have it but will probably need to see it.

For the carb you might have to find another one for parts... or find a complete carb as a replacement. A lot of the engines ended up with Schebler carbs... regardless of what they had originally. Yours is probably 3/4" or 1".

MotorGo engines were made by a variety of manufacturers for Sears... you should detirmine who actually made yours... again a photo might help. I "think" if you search motorgo here on the board you will find other converstions about them.

Regards,
Andrew

Audie, I will take a look at your engine, we're going to Morgan City on Oct 12, a show at Lake End Park. Waterpump castings and connecting straps are available if it's a Lockwood Ash made engine, a lot of machining involved but it can be done. If the carb is the same as a Schebler the cap will probably have to be fabricated, more carbs than caps around. An Autolite 3095 plug will work, available at the auto parts houses.I'll send you a diagram of an easy buzz coil to make from scrap parts. J.B.
