Our town, 100 Mile House British Columbia has a Vivian 4 cylinder Number 3062 engine Lloyds test 20/6/45, with a Kato 75 KW generator attached. There are also a lot of spares with it, pistons, sleeves, rods etc. The engine was used for standby power for the town many years ago. It has been in a building all the time. It has been fired up recently. The town would like to sell it if they could find out where to advertise. Any suggestions? I could get digital pictures if wanted. Thanks for any help.

Hello Don,
Just curious why the town would want to sell it? Do they not want to have a standby anymore? I'll be up that way this summer, is it possible to have a look?

Hi Robert,
How can I contact you as to when you will be in this area? I have a contact name and phone number for someone to show you the unit. It was used as standby power for a large lodge complex in town which is no longer.
Don

Not sure why you would want to sell this Vivian.
Could the town not put this on display. It was probably built around the year 1946 in Vancouver by Viviam Diesel and Munitions on Station Street at that time.
I am familure with this engine as well as the two cylinder and the 9x12 5 and 6 cylinder models.
I would love to view this engine.
