Is the oiler set up to feed oil into the crankcase?

Some of the Grays have a feed into the crankcase which then drips onto an oil slinger that eventually feeds the con rod bearing. The second oiler feeds the cylinder wall.

With the gib key this usually means pre-1910 or so.

Do you have a gear water pump? Or is it a piston pump?

Pictures are always very helpful.

Can anyone help me identify the year and h.p. of this Gray Marine. Tag says Model "0 5" Number 1165. Am having trouble getting it started and have eliminated all factors except perhaps timing. The engine has a timing advance adjustment arm and I've set a range between 15 degrees before TDC to 15 degrees after TDC. Backfired once, fired several storkes once, but now nothing. Spark is pretty blue, good compression and have tried injecting gas into cylinder, but no go. Just pulled a muscle in my forearm from cranking. Help would be appreciated. Will try to download pictures:

Eric,

What part of ebay? Do you have an item number? I tried searching, but got no where.
