Hi all;
Thanks again Richard for the Pix.
On my quest for any / all info I might find on these engines, it turns out that this series of engines were designed by the US NAVY Bureau of Engineering, built in the Norfolk Navy Yard
{Norfolk Va.}
There were 4 sizes in this series, from 1 to 4 Cyls. and were as follows;
Type "EE", one Cyl. 5 HP
Type "GG", two Cyl. 10 HP
Type "HH", Three Cyl. 15 HP
Type "KK", Four Cyl. 20 HP
The first "EE's" the Cyl. was integral to the lower base, the design was changed to a seperate Cyl. later, as the Pix show.
All parts were interchangeable, except, upper & lower base, crankshaft. Even the flywheels were the same.
I would still like to find further info, Dwgs, Pix, Specs. on these engines if anyone has more.
Thanks Frank
